Stress
« on: March 21, 2012, 09:16:05 AM »
So I've been having a rough week...I've always been an emotional eater and while I've managed to control it it's creeped up on me this week. Stepped on the scale and gained 2lbs. Sigh. But I did buy jeans a size down yesterday...that was a positive for me!

You gotta love smaller jeans!  I know that the 2 pounds is disappointing but I'm sure you've learned something about how to manage stressful situations.  Stick with us and you'll be shopping for jeans again before you know it.

Stress is an incredibly powerful force on our bodies in so many ways. It's so important to learn how to de-stress. Yeah I know all the excuses I've come up with most of them but the truth is we really can be in control of our own bubble if we choose to be...st least long enough to take care of you. Congrats on the smaller jeans!  8)

Hi NewMe11! :)

Kudos on the smaller size! ;D ;D ;D

When I feel stressed, I'll often just stop and take 3 deep slow breaths.
If that's not enough, I'll find some physical activity to get my mind on something else for a time
while my subconscious processes the stress source and copes with it.

Life can sometimes be like moving from one stressor to another.
Hang in there!!!... We're right here with you! :) :) :)
What you do today is what matters!
