Thanks Sarah. Drinking LOTS of water is #1 on my "doing it differently this time" list. It's also helpful to know that I'm not alone. Detox here I come!  ;)

Waterlilly, put something on top of the GG, if not they are pretty flavorless. I like Kraft 1/3d less fat cream cheese and FIFTY50 fruit spreads on mine as well as the I.M.Healthy unsweetened soy butter and FIFTY50 fruit spreads.

Get used to internet shopping, it's the bomb!  ;)

Thanks Doug. Peanut butter is my weapon of choice but I will check out the soy nut butter you guys keep talking about. It's super easy for me to overeat the stuff.

We have a Whole Foods coming in to this area and a few smaller boutique health food stores so I will comb those for low carb stuff. I might have to go with the internet though.

Waterlilly.... you should be able to find the I.M.Healthy unsweetened soy butter at your local grocery store.  I'm seeing it more and more now  ;)

Thanks for the reminder, Doug.  PB and PB alternatives have a lot of carb creep potential.

I'm in the upper Midwest (Indiana).

Doug, I will watch for the carb creep. I think this was my issue last time. It's easy for me to overeat peanut butter so I will hunt for the soy butter. Or, I could not eat it at all.  :D

Hi Waterlilly! :)

I find that mixing soy nut butters with natural (low carb) peanut butter 50-50 makes an awesome PB substitute.
Although the net carbs are half that of the PB alone, they still need to be watched closely.

To beat "carb creep", I find it helps to MEASURE everything and write it all down BEFORE I eat it.
This also helps with portion control and avoidance of "grazing".
I've been doing that every day since I started FTS back in August 2010. ;)
What you do today is what matters!

Slice 'em thin and use them as a garnish and you're okay.  Eat 'em with a spoon and it's trouble.

They sure look pretty on the top of a cheesecake.

That's a good idea Mouseissue. I'm not a fan of "grazing" but rather 3 good meals that make me feel full and nourished. I've always felt like grazing never gave my digestive system a break anyway.
