The OMM is such a nifty recipe that it should have it's own category! So versatile, it can be breakfast, a stand-alone snack muffin, part of a sandwich for lunch, bread with dinner, or even dessert! So what do you think of that Mr./Ms. Webmaster?

Other low carb sites have versions of the OMM, too. I was looking around to find my gooey brownie to get an idea, and saw one referred to as a MIM (muffin in a minute).

I'm confused...do you use golden flax seeds or ground flax?  Also, I think I read somewhere about offsetting the total carb count with fiber?  Can someone explain this to me please?  Thank you!!! :o

When you are baking, you use ground flax which comes in different varieties.  Golden flax is preferred by some because the flavor is a bit milder.

We count "net" carbs.  You take total carbs and subtract fiber and sugar alcohols.

So if I have a product with 8 carbs and 8 grams of fiber, does it turn out to be 0 carbs?   ;D
