Don't worry Jenna. It will come off and stay off. Just remember that feeling when you saw the scales down. It's good incentive!

On the subject of scales. In one of the "diet" books I read it suggested setting your scales (when they were the manual ones) on your ideal weight/goal.  So when you hopped on you didn't despair and your mind set on what your body should be. So it was a psycological thing as well.  I suppose it has it pros and cons.  Pros - letting you feel what you should weigh.  Cons - when you actually weighed in heavier.  Perhaps a middle ground would be to have set it on your ideal/goal during the week and weigh in properly once a week.

I think scales are evil. You should be able to tell by measurements and how your clothes feel ;) It sets the mood for the day.I think it leads to anorexia and bulemia.just my opinion but I deal with alot of kids on the forum and it is so important they know they are more than a number on a scale.A tape measure isn't as harsh and doesn't fluctuate. ;)

I agree with Umpa, Morgan!

Scales are evil and misleading little boxes.
Our culture emphasizes their use... The same culture that tells us many high carb foods will help us lose weight.

Go by your measurements and how you feel.
Getting smaller and healthier is the goal. Not a "number" in a little box.
What you do today is what matters!
