Week 1 - What the scales say
« on: May 01, 2012, 09:45:47 AM »
I am taking a deep breath here and have decided that I am going to post my weekly weight loss  (I am thinking positively here!) week in week out.  Apart from a headache I feel like I breezed through this week without any major hiccups with the help of all the different forum topics and warm welcomes.  Maybe I haven't hit the detox bit. Only craving I really had was for bread. The only frustrating thing is that 2 days before the week was up for my official weigh-in the scales registered a bigger loss, but hey it will all even out. I think I'll hide the scales during the week and bring them out only on weigh-in days.

So 'ta dah'  - 2 lbs has been sent into the universe to find a new home  :)

Morgan, 2 pounds a week is great! Be sure you take your measurements. Then if the scale stops you can still see progress being made. My scales stop often, but my body is still working to dump inches. It's like I'm regrouping. It's weird - I used to hate my body, now I think it's delightful to see how hard it works to be the best it can.

Congrats on the 2 pounds, Morgan.  Keep your fingers crossed.  You may be one of the lucky ones who has a mild detox.

Hooray on those first 2 (of many) pounds, Morgan!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Headaches and cravings are two common symptoms of sugar detox.
They should both be gone soon! ;)
What you do today is what matters!
