What Would You Do?
« on: May 06, 2012, 08:38:41 AM »
Ever see the show " What Would You Do? "  Lets play! Here's the scenario,

You're standing in line at the grocery store and a very heavy couple are in front of you with a cart FULL of carb laden foods. They are discussing how healthy the whole grain bread and whole wheat pasta is and how drinking a half gallon of orange juice each will "cleanse" their fat cells away like they heard on that TV show. The woman in the motorized cart is almost in tears while she's talking to her mate and you overhear her say if this "new diet" doesn't work she's going to lose her leg due to out of control diabetes. You have the answers to the cure for diabetes and obesity because you're a FAT TO SKINNY reader.

Now the question is

I would tell them about my improvements! Then, I would offer them a copy of the book. In fact, I have done this at a restaurant in town already.

Just reading this makes me get a huge lump in my throat because I would WANT to help them SO bad!!  Lately I have made sure to keep a "before" picture in my purse.  I think I would try to sweetly tell them what has worked for me, pull out my picture, tell them about my FTS family members who have cured diabetes type II, and give them the website address.

My daughter works part time as a cashier at Kroger.  People are always chatting with her about their "new diets" as they check out with their groceries.  More than once she has written down the FTS website address, shared about my success, and told customers to take a look at it.  (That makes me so proud of her.)

Doug, maybe you could add a link to the site where we could order a handful of your business cards?  That would be a GREAT thing to hand out in situations like this!  ;)

I printed out FTS cards from my computer, Jan, with Doug's permission. I carry them in my purse. I would give them a card and point them to FTS. I use you guys as examples all the time!

I'd say...

"Please excuse me. But I could not help overhearing your conversation.
I was a type II diabetic, but not any more.
If you'd like to know how to save yourself from diabetes WITHOUT drugs,
I'll gladly explain how I did it and where you can get more information, if you're interested."

I have never run into this scenario.
But if I did, I'm confident that I'd get an affirmative response. :)

I posted this over at: http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=4401.0
This is a duplicate post.
What you do today is what matters!

I'd have to speak up. Here's this person in pain, on the verge of losing a limb and I have the answers....I'd feel obligated to try and share. It's kinda like having the cure for cancer...could you keep it to yourself?
