Itsoversugar's First Menu
« on: May 30, 2012, 09:44:15 PM »
Breaky -   3 hard boiled eggs with 4 oz bulk sausage

Lunch- ground beef pattie topped with 1 oz cheddar, 2 slices bacon, 1 serving packet of buffalo sauce, all wrapped in lettuce leaves

Snack -   cream cheese clouds (lindasue recipe)

Dinner -    5 oz chicken tenderloin with broccoli and cheese.

It was a good day for me. I didnt have any cravings at all up until after dinner, which is usually a hard time for me to resist junk, but I made it through.

I ran everything through my calorie counter app through lunch and had consumed less than 7 net carbs. Haven't entered dinner yet. I may come back later and try to update my carb counts if I can.

Your menu is great, question though....are you checking on yourself as you get ready to prepare a meal to make sure you're truly hungry? The reason I ask is in our quest to eat low carb sometimes we simply eat to much food...more than we really need. Keep up the good work and take a minute to review these 5 rules.  8)

5 rules to GUARANTEE success

1- ONLY EAT WHEN YOU ARE TRULY HUNGRY
2- EAT A SMALL PORTION OF LOW SUGAR FOODS FROM THE FAT TO SKINNY BOOK
3- WAIT 15 MINUTES AND SEE HOW YOU FEEL
4- IF YOU'RE STILL HUNGRY AFTER 15 MINUTES EAT A LITTLE MORE AND WAIT ANOTHER 15 MINUTES
5- STAY UNDER 20 CARBS PER DAY....EVERY DAY, LESS IF YOU DON'T SEE MOVEMENT ON THE SCALE

The reunion was fun.  The pace of life is so much slower in rural areas.  I love that you just have to relax and go with the flow for a few days.  It was windy, humid and 102, but I handle the heat much better without the fat layers.  I really wanted to blend more than dazzle and it worked.

No thankfully she wanted to do cup cakes and to do them herself  LOL  I'm kinda relieved Ha!  It's hard to work in someone else's kitchen and my sister has very little room in hers  :-\   I think we have 200 + to frost by tomorrow though  :o  No biggy there should be plenty of us to get it done with no trouble

I've seen scottish eggs before. They look complicated to make, but sound yummy. That's my favorite breakfast combination, eggs and sausage.  I'll have to find that recipe. Thanks! :)
