The Jeans Test
« on: June 19, 2012, 04:56:03 AM »
As I have decided not to jump on my scale so often and lots of you say to judge by your clothing, I have devised a Jeans Test - as this is what I want to get back into.

I was op-shopping (I so love recycled things) and bought a trendy pair of Jeans - good brand/just worn in- even better half price for the day.  And  that's why I love op-shopping (hmmm not sure if you call it that - thrift shopping? - where people donate used items to charities).

Anyway - I see myself slipping into a size 14 pair of jeans - my happy place - my goal.  Anyway, I am able to slide them up to just above my knees.  Every so often I am going to try them on and chart my progress by how far up I can get them.  I am sure one day they will go all the way.   Then I will do that HAPPY DANCE and do a girly scream. ;D ;D ;D

A girl's gotta have goals. :D

That is an awesome idea! I think I'll try the same thing... a size 14 does sound heavenly!
Thanks Morgan... and good luck! :)

I love this...I have 2 pair of jeans that I LOVE!  They have been banished to the top rack in my closet...but no more.  Those suckers are coming out and staying on my dresser from now on!   Thanks for the challenge and the step OFF the scale...because I feel amazing in my size 14 worn out jeans...and I think hubby likes them too. :P

So I will take the jeans test every Saturday morning until I can button them without lying on my bed.
Oh, it's on!

HA!  Back when I was a kid in high school we did that on purpose  ;D  The tighter the better   :P :P  If you didn't have to lay down to zip them up you were doing it wrong  HA!  Lord how silly we are when we are young  haha

I have to wash my jeans more often because the stretch makes them too baggy.  That's a change!

That will wear them out faster so that you can buy smaller sizes!
Kudos to you, Andrea! ;D ;D ;D

Ooh ooh, count me in! I will lay out a pair of jeans I want to wear like an "ultimate grand supreme" crown!  ;) ;)

Umpa - a coat hanger? I need something stronger than that. Try pliers!!  :D
