Well I still didn't think I was close to those 14s and while I was op shopping yesterday I felt I needed a goal and bought another pair. I had tried to try them on, but having worn stockings they didn't slide so I thought they wouldn't fit and would be an inbetween goal before I can fit into the 14s. So before I hopped into bed I thought I should try them on and see how they didn't fit. Imagine my surprise (I was speechless) when they slid right on up. Happy happy dance.
The first pair of jeans I have fit into (looking good) in I don't know how many years - lots and lots and lots. I mean I suppose I could have bought a really huge pair, but I prefer to keep my mirrors in one piece - thank you very much. Now I will be able to gauge my weight wearing these. They fit absolutely perfect. I did then have the courage to try my goal jeans - they went up a bit further but still a ways to go, but that's alright - they are my goal, that and a white shirt I bought from the op shop as well, it was a 'designer' shirt that still had the tags on it $369 - I got it for $3. When I saw it I thought it was gorgeous - I loved everything about it except the size. I figured I would never get into it. But hey that's what goals are for.
So this has perked me up no end. Still smile when I think of it. YAYAYAYAYAYAY
I have been wearing some more fitting clothes and it really does make a difference. I'm trying not to hide beneath them. I should make the supreme effort and start tossing out the bigger stuff. It just seems they are my security and I'm comfortable. Need to kick the boundaries of that comfort zone!
