Doug

Do you recommend a Fiber Supplement on FTS?

If so can you recommend a product.

You should be getting plenty of fiber in your food if you follow the plan correctly.Don't forget water though, 68 ounces a day.If you are having problems there are fiber supplements, but i think you should take them only if you are having issues. You may have issues temporarily while your body adjusts to detoxing from sugar.(and wicked mood swings, headaches, etc)

Doug ,

I have read the book!

I'm just trying to make sure I get as close to the 30 grams of fiber a day.

Possibly I've missed something ... I'll go through it again.

I'd love to see a reputable scientific bowel movement study NOT performed by Kellogg's or some other cereal company, NOT performed by the FDA and their food pyramid, NOT performed by fiber supplement companies. Quite honestly I have been eating the FTS way of life for over 7 years now, keeping a good mix in my program and drinking plenty of water as prescribed by the book and I've never had any kind of bowel problems. I have my screenings done as prescribed for my age, no problems their either. Are you having some kind of bowel problems or does does everything seem to be moving along OK?  If bowel problems are not present what is the reason for a supplement other than the recommendation made by the grain industry that you need 30 grams of fiber per day?

Makes you think twice doesn't it  ::)
