I just wanted to share the recipe for the yummy coleslaw I made tonight. I love the coleslaw that the restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken serves and had a hankerin for some tonight. I had made some BBQ pulled pork (I'll share that recipe on another post)
But I thought it would go great along side. Here is what I came up with:
I head cabbage shredded or if you are feeling lazy just use a package of cabbage slaw mix already cut up for you (this is what I did)
1/2 cup Mayo
16 drops of FTS zero (you could use 1/4 cup xylitol here just make sure you give it time to dissolve)
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream (you can cut this back...I started with 1/2 cup and ended up adding more)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 Tbs white wine vinegar
Mix all together and fold into cabbage. Chill for at least an hour. This was so good I wanted to lick the bowl....HA!
Hubs tells me it's a keeper
I'm thinking of adding celery seed next time to see what it does to it
