a good replacement for Roti (Indian flat bread) can be made using Flax. Remember now, all replacements are just that... replacements. They will be a different flavor and texture than the original but will become your standards over time.
1 1/2 cups flax seed meal
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt 4 drops of Zero sweetener (if you want sweet)
2 eggs
1/2 cup water
4 teaspoons olive oil
1- Mix all your ingredients until a smooth batter is formed, let rest 5 minutes and check how thick it is. If you need to thin it down add a bit more water and mix.
2- Heat up your Tava (griddle) and grease, pour on the batter cook and flip
You can also try adding in some soy flour for a different texture. Use the ingredients you have locally and experiment. If you come up with a really cool recipe please share it here
