ROLLER DERBY??? HOW COOL! I get back every few years.I usually take off somewhere with my daughter alone,like a cruise when she has time.My parents are in San Antonio(schertz) and my sister in houston so I have been known to pop in for a visit

You have family all over Texas. I've lived in Houston and the coast... Austin's where it's at.

Andrea if I get to your neck of the woods you got it Denver is pretty!
Austin is great, but as I got older too hot for me!

It does get toasty in the summer, but I'm a wimp about winter. Living in Ohio nearly killed me.

I don't like the snow either.We go back to florida

The last three Winters, we've have about 3 feet of snow at least once per season.
And it stuck around for a week or two.

Snow is great for ski trips... But not to live in.
We usually will lose power during these storms and be in the dark for days!
As I recall, Doug was looking for me during the the last one.

This year, we bought a big backup generator and had our house wiring preped for it.
We're ready for the next event!

I remember that Tony! We have a generator too in the Keys and have used it lots with the hurricanes
