Hi Jo! :)

I hope all is well with you!

With the apple, onion, and a full cup of sugar, isn't this rather high in carbs?
I'd move this post over to "Ask Umpa" and request a low carb version.

Hey tony fine here I guess frustrated because I can't find a doctor that will treat my thyroid problems . But what can you do I don't have the money to doctor shop . I found one that might be ale to help but can't see him till Jan ,he must be special I hope he is anyway . Hope you are fine also .
The sugar was suppose to be xylitol and the whole recipe is about 30 - 40 carbs but it makes a huge bowl I would say at least  8 servings   So that would be 4-5 carbs per serving .
I changed the sugar  ;)

Glad to see you are doing well girl....Hang in there though and be persistent with the docs.  Remember it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease   ;) ;)

That looks much better, Jo! :) :) :)

Glad to hear your OK.

Like Shawn said, many doctors require persistence to get them to do what you want.
I guess this is because they think of themselves as above the rest of us.

Remember, if they were perfect at their jobs, they would not be "practicing medicine".
They'd be "perfecting" it. ;)

I hope you find a good endocrinologist! :) :) :)

Jo I hope you find the right doctor ;) For apples in recipes I use grated jicama, same sweetness and consistency :)

Sadly, jicama is not sold around here.
So I just cut down on the amount of apple and add some apple extract and FTS Zero! 8)

I think it was romarc who uses sweetened apple cider vinegar as a apple juice replacement in his recipes.I thought that was a great idea and wicked healthy! :)
