I don't have any specific advice, just a big HUG for hanging in there.  Congratulations on the weight loss but more congrats for sticking with it!

Hi Morgan, glad to see the plateau broken  8)

Question though doug - do I gradually add those things back in or just avoid until I really really need? want?  it?
Is sf jelly (it doesn't say it has sugar alcohols) ok - I gave it a miss this week, but do like it every so often?

If I was you Morgan I would stay the course you've been on this past week for a while. Your body will adjust and your sweet tooth will disappear.  Soon you miss the sweets at all. Once we get another 20-30 pounds behind you we'll re-address sweets :)

And Doug's right (that's me stating the obvious) about the craving or even the taste for the sweets.  It does go away.  It seems so painful to not have any of the "treats" until the day you see them on the pantry shelf and wonder why you every thought you needed them.

You are fighting all that food programming from the past and it is so hard to recognize sometimes.  Soon you'll be one of those people who politely says "no, thanks" to offers of all the stuff that was keeping you unhealthy and the now, you truly don't want.
