Hello everyone

Wanted to say hello,  I will be starting today and look forward to the life change.  I have a lot to loose so any help would be appreciated.  I'm 6'1" 431lb.

I have a column on the homepage called ask umpa where I can convert your favorite foods to fat to skinny friendly.Check in and chat often it will help you. It takes about two weeks to detox and then you will feel like a million bucks! Your energy will go through the roof ;)

First I would just like to thank everyone for their warm welcomes.  I must say I'm impressed with the outturning of support.  Day one is done.  I'm not even going to pretend it was easy, but I made it.   I now look forward to each day getting a little easier.

Welcome to the forum.  I take weekends off from the computer screen so I missed your first day. Congrats at getting past day 1.  Remember how hard it was and use that to motivate yourself to look forward.  It does get easier and we're hear to back you up and share the ups and downs. 

It won't be long before you really just don't want to eat all those carbs.  The best is yet to come!
