I want to try the doughnut rec. I do not have a doughnut pan. What can I use instead.?

Hi jetfan - a while back I wanted to try the chocolate donut recipe but also didn't have a donut pan so I improvised and used a mini cupcake pan and it worked out really well.  (little individual silicone pans or even cooking it in a cake tin and then slicing it up.) The mixture was quite thick as I recall so perhaps if you didn't have any pan at all you might be able to just put spoonfuls on a biscuit tray.    Necessity is the mother of invention.  Good luck.

you can try putting a ball of foil in each cup of a muffin/cupcake pan.  That way you will get the donut shape too.
