Good article, TabyTaby! :)

I found the author's comment very revealing about what happens to us when we eat high carb junk;

"I tested my blood sugar every 20 minutes and hoped that it would go down so I could have a real dinner.
Weirdly enough I felt hungry at the same time as my blood sugar was high.
Perhaps some other nutrient was missing in my blood giving me feelings of hunger. Protein? Fat?
"

Nothing weird here!... This is why carbs are so addictive.
We can't seem to get enough until our tummies are almost bursting!
Is it any wonder why we get FAT eating carbs? :-\

Thanks Tony! I found it to be such a revelation, just what they were saying. I think, if anyone doubts, they should read that article. That person has nothing to gain from telling the truth, only the benefit of knowing he's helping others! I found it after my aunt who does semi-low carb was telling me about it...and I had to give her the link to help her understand the truth! It's disgusting how they can lie like that. Not cool.
May you be blessed in all your endeavors, but most importantly, may you be humble. God keep you.

I just wanted to share this article I found exposing the truths about Dreamfields Pasta...just in case anyone doubts this is a good research and review ;) http://www.dietdoctor.com/the-dreamfields-pasta-fraud

There are a couple of things about this Diet Dr. test that make me wonder.  Why did he eat 2 servings in his test instead of going with a single serving.  A double-serving would definitely raise his blood sugar a lot higher.  The second thing is that we don't eat pasta out of the pan, at the very least we stir in some butter.  He doesn't say, did he add butter or put it in a sauce, or maybe meatballs and sauce.  Whatever he ate with the pasta would have an impact on his blood sugar.  To me, the only fair test would be to eat a single serving with nothing on it.  Any volunteers?   ;D

I have read a lot online about Dreamfield's, especially at diabetes forums.  Dreamfield's affects everyone's blood sugar differently.  Some can eat a small amount with no problem, others can't.  Notice that I said a small amount.  As for me, I don't have it often, but sometimes I make a pan of meatballs and sauce, and add a few strings of Dreamfield's pasta, and I do mean a very few strings.  It doesn't have much affect on my blood sugar, but if I ate more, it certainly would.  But I do have to say that even though Dreamfield's doesn't impact my blood sugar as much as regular pasta would, I do believe their claims are extremely exaggerated.  If I wasn't able to restrict myself to a few strings, I would definitely stay away from it.
