I've got everything for this recipe except the vital wheat gluten.  Where do I find that?  Supermarket?  Health food store?  Thanks.

I found mine in my local grocery.   It was in with the gluten free items (funny) and specialty flours.  I would imagine any health food store would have it as well though.  This is the one I have http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FDMLVS/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B0006ZN52E&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1HVH29DC53V1HF80RTC9    ;D

The yeast feeds on the gluten so don't leave it out ;)

Red Star active dry yeast - probably can't get my hands on it so can I use ordinary dry yeast?

The Red Star is just one of the brand names here in the states Morgan.  It is just one brand that is readily available in most grocer's that isn't just in those little pre-measured packets.  It's easier to use when you need more than just a few tablespoons at a time.  I'm sure any brand would work  ;)

Could you use this bread for making french toast or paninis sandwiches?
