Thanks y'all! It's true, I have had a bit of bad luck past couple of years, but you know? The 'ole saying goes; "you can either let the situation define you, or you can define the situation!"(or well, something like that!)But anyway, I just got to the point where I was tired of feeling sorry for myself and the situation we're in, as far as living with the mil. I know it won't last forever, and it seems hard to pull ones self out of the pity syndrome once you go down that path. Seems like it takes forever to climb out of the rabbit hole, so to speak! But, I am doing better! We have purchaced
our own, sort of mini fridge that we keep in our room
and we keep all the good stuff in there! AkA; lettuce for wraps, lunch meats etc...So, go ahead and let the mil cook till her hearts content! We have figured out a solution to better ourselves, and it's working
@Umpa, hubby is doing good! He's working two jobs now. Second one is only on his days off Thurs. and Friday. Tow truck guy/mechanic during the week! So he stays pretty busy! But we are "Keeping the Faith and Stayin the Course!" It's been a hard hurdle moving in with the mil, but we have finally figured out how to "survive" with our eating habits and "her" cooking! I'm finally off the 200lb. mark! And into a size 12 jeans again. So alls good around here.
