Hi, LADYCD!  :)

On planning exactly what you'll eat from day to day, allow some room for change.
Being too precise about future meal plans can be risky.
None of us really knows exactly what our bodies will need tomorrow or the day after.

A BIG part of FTS is allowing our bodies to tell us what our bodies really need, as they need it.
Especially as we adjust to living with a limited intake of carbs.

If you find that your meal plan leaves you truly hungry at any point, be willing to readjust it for your needs.
In that case, use proteins and fats to help you along.

What you do today is what matters!

Hi LadyCD, I reviewed your meal plan and I think your lunch is twice as big as it needs to be. This it what I suggest, make 2 plates each with 2 cups of lettuce and 1 breast. Eat the first plate and wait 15 minutes...if you're still hungry eat a bit more off plate #2 and wait again. I think you'll find that one plate will be sufficient AND your lunch for tomorrow will already be made!  8)

Tony.......def see your point. Being overly planned might be a hinderance, as well. Still in a diet frame of mind.......readjusting. FTS  IS NOT A DIET, BUT A LIFESTYLE.

Ready to eat w/out fear and be full............while losing lots of weight.

Doug........... I thought so too...........but I really want to avoid snacking so I figured if I ate a big enough lunch, will keep me to dinner. Like your idea because if that 1st plate fulls me....in a crunch can be dinner or lunch tomorrow. I'm really starting to see how easy FTS can be once you understand the foundation and importantly, read labels.

Excited to get started......FOCUSED!

Took my before pic.........can't wait to see the new me emerge.  ;D

Do you think 40 pds by bday (nov) is realistic?

Hi Lady CD!  Welcome to the forum!  I have hypothyroidism and have been on Synthroid the whole time I have done FTS.  I really don't think my thyroid issues affected my loss at all.  As long as I stayed at 20 carbs, I lost really consistently.  I have just been holding my own for the past year.  I am trying to get back to business and lose the rest of my weight now.  You have come to the right place!  We are all in this together.

MaddysMom..............
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience w/ me :) I take Armour Thyroid. Do you do blood work every 3 months? Hypothyroidism can be so frustrating and I was getting scared that it would hinder weight loss on FTS. Starting on Monday, delayed by week, due to moving. So ready to get this weight off. Everyone has been supportive and gives me that extra push to stay focused and be successful this time around.

Umpa.......... ;D
