Yummm!! And you can control what goes in it
Ground beef jerky
1 pound extra lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon reduced sugar ketchup
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Combined all ingredients and chill for 4 hours.
Spoon 1 TBS balls and mash between plastic wrap to make disks about 1/8 inch thick.
Put in dehydrator using your dehydrator instructions for making jerky. Or you can use your oven (in oven at lowest temp setting 160 - 180 °F with the door ajar) Be sure to turn your jerky halfway through.
