Squash Casserole

This has been a family favorite for years...  Mine basically consists of 2-3 tubes of Ritz Crackers, frozen squash, onions fried in bacon grease, cream of mushroom soup, 1 egg, 2-3 cups of grated sharp cheddar cheese, and a dab of mayo.

How would I low-carb this one but still have the good taste?!

You could use crushed up pork rinds in place of the GG crisp bread if you don't have it.  Actually That is probably what I would use to begin with.  I don't usually have the GG's around.  also whenever I run across a recipe that calls for cream of mushroom soup I like to use alfredo sauce.  Bertolli's has a nice one that has mushrooms added in it...perfect for this  ;)  Maybe not exactly the same but I bet it would be delicious  :D

This recipe is REALLY good, Jacki! :) :) :)

I don't think so, Umpa…  On Day 48 now so it HAS to get better soon!  I did have a couple of "decent" nights the past 2 nights so maybe…??!!

48 days is an EXTREMELY long time for "normal" detox from anything!
Are you sure that something else isn't going on?

Well, I'd been on them for 10 years! I'm on a forum where others are going through this and others have been going through it for up to 90 days, so I guess for some of us with not so good immune systems it just takes longer :(

I understand.

Very long term hard drug use can take a very long time for detox. Especially with other health complications.
But hang in there!... You WILL get past it. :)

I have NO energy yet, Umpa, but how can I when I'm getting an average of 2-3 hours of sleep a night?!!!  I just KNOW once my sleep returns I'll feel better.  Just wish it would hurry up and happen!

You could try taking 2-3 hour long, luxurious, restful, restorative "naps " 2-3 times every 24 hours to get enough hours of rest in.
