« on: September 27, 2013, 06:23:08 AM »
Good Morning!!!!!

Has anyone tried this?  Pastabilities Pasta - 0 carbs.  I can't stomach the Shirataki Noodles though I know some folks like them.  Here is a link..........

Hi Kim....great to see you  :)   I haven't seen that brand before.  At first I really didn't like these types of noodles...now I don't so much mind them.  I do still prefer the veggie noodles though.  It's nice to see different brands popping up...maybe the prices for these so called "specialty foods" will start to come down the more popular they become.  Wishful thinking  ::)

Hi, Kim! :)

These noodles are made from glucomannan (from the root of the konjac plant).
Glucomannan is used as a thickener with 0 net carbs.

Non-soy shirataki noodles are also made from the konjac root.
But as we know, they have a strange aroma and the texture is a bit rubbery.

I have not tried this brand. But would be willing. ;)
The shipping is $4.95 for one package or a dozen (at $3.57 each).

I think I'll buy some next week!

From looking at the web page I would venture to guess that they are packaged the same way.  You know the drill Tony....rinse rinse rinse  ;D

That's what I do ~ Make Zucchini Noodles or Cabbage Noodles.  Let us know what you think Tony!!  Maybe they'll start carrying these in Kroger ~ Another wishful thinking though I don't even know if I like them yet!   :D
