This 'nutritionist' advocates ensuring you have sugar in every meal (admittedly not added sugar), but grains, fruits, juices, sugar-loaded vegetables.   Oh - also that sugar is important to our health, and living sugarfree is detrimental to our health.

Ms Platt speaks from direct experience, after giving up sugar foods completely three years ago. She says quitting sugar caused her enormous harm.

According to Ms Platt she experienced a list of effects including poor sleep, reductions in hair, skin and nail quality, lowered sex drives, accelerated ageing and impaired glucose metabolism.

Her experience prompted her to write the book Don't Quit Sugar, which includes recipes where sugar is in every meal of the day.

She says people who think they need to eliminate all sugars from their diet can be dangerous. - 'end quote'

Unbelievable - and people probably pay to see her and get dietary advice.

Unless this Cassie Platt has a VERY strange metabolic disorder, what she claims is complete NONSENSE!!!
She must have an ownership stake in a sugar plantation or wheat farm.

What in the world? You got to be joking this chic claims that not eating sugar created all these problems for her! Where are her medical records to prove it? Wow!
Another person who in Piers Morgan disappointed me with his take on health was the pastor from Saddleback Church, the writer of 'purpose Driven Life' , claiming that his book the 'Daniel Plan'  you can eat grains, fruits and stuff and still lose much weight.

Programs like the Daniel Plan will work to an extent because there is an element of portion control.

If we reduce the amount of carb-laden food we eat, we will produce less blood glucose, and we can lose some weight.
But, if our metabolisms are badly damaged from many years of carb abuse, we will likely have less success.

Hi Morgan -- and WOW that does sound like insanity.....she sounds like a quack!!!!
