How Much Alfredo Sauce?

When substituting Alfredo Sauce for cream of mushroom soup, how much do you use per 1 can of the soup?

That would depend on a few things. #1, are you making my homemade rich and creamy Alfredo sauce or jarred? If it's mine then it's zero carbs and that part of the equation is removed. If it's in a jar it's 3 carbs per 1/4 cup.

#2- Serving size?

#3- How thick do you want your soup.

I'm talking about using the Bertolli sauce in a casserole instead of cream of mushroom. If I'd use 1 can of the cream of mushroom (Campbell's), how much of the Alfredo Sauce would I use?

Trying to make my squash casserole in a low carb version!

Hi Jacki  I would start with 1/2 to 3/4 cup and see how soupy it is.  I like to use the one with mushrooms in it and then add more of my own to thicken it up a bit more     I'm sorry I'm so late answering you back.   Please let us know how it comes out
