BACK ON THE WAGON
« on: January 01, 2014, 03:43:29 AM »
Happy New Year one and all.  Day 1 of a brand spanking new year.  Time to clear out the cupboards of all the things we brought in for Christmas (whether we admit to it or not).  Being me (stress, lack of a job and all the usual things that are sent to plague us), I overindulged in all the things I shouldn't have over the holiday season.  Life sucked and I was stuffing my face to compensate.  Well we all know that can't go on, so like all good little New Year's Resolutioners I resolved to hop back on the wagon today.  Before I went to bed last night, I emptied all the things left in the fridge that I would not be able to resist (earlier I had packed up all the chocolates, lollies, biscuits I had been given and took them to my daughter's house (her housemates will be pleased).  So Day 1 was good, almost over.  No headaches, bit lightheaded, craved (but didn't know what for exactly).  Decided on some treadmill work, but still haven't done that bit tonight.

Have decided that 2014 is going to be a GREAT year.
Numerically we are in sync - 2+0+1+4=7
My birthdate - 3+1+0+1+9+5+6=25=2+5=7
How can I go wrong  ;D

Great start to the New Year, Morgan! :) :) :) :) :)

Like Umpa said, don't be too hard on yourself.

Life is full of curve-balls that we do not expect.
Just remember to count your blessings, and the rest will take its proper perspective.

Hi Morgan!  I am with YOU!   I'm excited about the new year too!  I have played around for a whole year and should have been focusing on losing the rest of my weight.  I could have been DONE by now!  grrrrrr.  I am ready to get serious like I was when I first started FTS.   I received an email from FTS because I haven't been on in SO long!  Thanks so much!   Hopefully life is settling down and I'll have more time to check in here with my FTS family......which is exactly where I NEED to be!    :D     Happy New Year everybody!!!

Hi Umpa & Tony!   Missed you folks!
As for the horses, we just have Rocky now... the Tennessee Walker.  I sold my paint horse after his bucking episode.  I'm just too old for that.  ha ha   Our daughter & new son in law have rented a place to live that has 10 acres in pasture.  They will probably be moving Rocky to be with them soon.  I may just be back to my cat then.  :D

Though I haven't been on here in a while, I have still been enjoying all my FTS recipes.  Mashed cauliflower is my favorite comfort food this time of year.  ....and it's going to be COLD here in GA starting tomorrow!  I probably don't even want to know what the temperature is down there in the Florida Keys.  ha ha
