Soy Protein Powder
« on: January 25, 2014, 12:53:13 AM »
Somewhere along the line I bought a bag of soy protein powder, but I have no idea why.  Any idea what it's uses are.  I'm wondering if there was a recipe in the bakery book.  Please help.  I would prefer not to waste it.  Ta

I use it for shakes. There are lots of recipes in the Fat to skinny Bakery Book.My favorite is the french toast bread in the book.I also use it for dusting when I am rolling out  doughs. You can use it to lighten up flours when baking.
My favorite green shake
8 ozs almond/coconut milk
6 strawberries
Zero(to taste)
2 tablespoons of hemp powder
1 tablespoon Spirulina(seeweed)
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon chia seeds
cup ice
I am anemic( from menopause) this shake helps with that.

I use if for lots of things   :)  If you do a search on the homepage with "soy protein powder"  It will bring up anything that it was used in or talked about.   ;)  Mostly my faves are shakes and pancakes  ;) ;)
