Hi, Susie! :)

Too much inactivity is not good for our bodies.
Although exercise doesn't work well for weight loss, our bodies need activity.
It's just how God made us.

If someone gets plenty of physical activity each day, I'm not so sure sitting is so bad.
Many of these studies include people that eat high-carb and are VERY overweight.
I believe those things have more impact on general health & lifespans, than simply sitting.

Thank you so much for your input Tony, I was thinking that they studied people who eat carbs.

One part of self test I found, to see if I'll be disabled after age 60, said to sit on the floor. Get up without using your hands. I never go on the floor, lol. Anyways I tried it & zoom I was up in a flash, no hands. Passed THAT test. ;D

Thanks, I'm hoping roller skating comes easier for me now too. I was so shaky, no muscles. Now I'm stronger!
