I haven't but it looks great Sunshine. I love to see fast food eateries offering FTS friendly fod on the menu. Hardy's offers a nice burger wrapped in lettuce, some pizza places odder crustless pizza...wonderful! I've always been able to get what I wanted on my plate simply by asking so don't be shy!

I've gone there, there's one in my town about 1/2 mile from home. They even have free unlimited peanuts, so watch those portions! The menu says all burgers can be made bunless!

When Mary & I go there, we plan ahead as to how many peanuts are our carb limit. Sometimes we just go for peanuts and soda, LOL.

The only Burger Bowl here is in my kitchen.  Just not fair - you lot have so many options.  On the other hand I know exactly what I put in it.  Though it would be nice to just eat out.  I went to McDonalds once and asked if they could give me my burger bunless.  Not a problem - great.  Got it out of bag - yep - in a bun.  Arrrggggghhhhh.  Just not worth the hastle.  Doug keeps saying how he never has a problem eating out - they want your business and will cater to your needs.   Nope, not here they don't.  It's a case of 'only what's on the menu'.  I was out with a group of friends and one of them asked to replace the chips (fries) with extra salad.  You know what I'm gonna say, don't you?  Yep - the answer was an astounding NO.  Unbelievable.  So really, they don't care. They obviously have enough business with those who eat anything, than cater for people with 'dietary needs'.

I would speak to a manager or owner. If that didnt get me anywhere I would start posting reviews online. There are people with nut and seafood allergies that can die if certain ingredients arent eliminated. My guess its the employees, nobody wants a bad review word of mouth can kill a business. ;)

Hi, Morgan! :)

And Umpa's right. Talking to a manager and giving bad reviews if needed can help.

During busy times, McDonald's will make burgers ahead of incoming orders and just keep them warm.
So when an order for a given burger comes in, the counter person just reaches over and grabs one from the pre-cooked batch.

If you order a bunless burger at McDonald's and they give you one with a bun anyway,
consider it part of the "wrapping" and toss it out with the rest of the food wrapping.

Remember, it's you and not anyone else that controls what enters your mouth. ;)

If I tell someone a special order & they don't get it, I'll just make sure they don't add any high carb stuff & I take the bun off a burger or pick the croutons out of a salad. Best for me to go with the flow to keep my blood pressure down.
With few choices there Morgan, looks like your kitchen is best.

FYI - in  Australia, McDonald's  has to make (or should that be assemble?) burgers as requested. No premade ones.  All ingredients are ready and waiting usually  (meat and buns in heated drawers from what I gather).

Calling a manager is an option, reviews not so much.

Carl's Jr's / Hardee's still makes a low carb burger. I had it yesterday and it was so good and filling. They wrap the whole thing in lettuce, so good! Also, you can ask Wendy's for just the meat and cheese. They put the hamburger in this little plastic serving dish and give you a knife and fork. Great for when you're on the road and want to eat fast food like the rest of the peeps. I keep the low carb pita's in my purse (yes I carry a huge purse) and use them with the patties. Last night we were at Lime Tex Mex. I ordered fajitas, used my pitas and it was awesome.
