Calorie counting is NOT part of the FTS lifestyle!!!
The calorie "theory" is one reason most of us got FAT and stayed FAT for many years.
Limiting carbs and managing portion sizes are major parts of what we do.
In what I've observed from our FTS family, some things that will break a plateau include:
(1) Lower number of carbs. For example, if you eat 20 net carbs a day, try 15 for a week or so.
If you go back to up 20 after and stall again, go back down to 15.
But if 15 doesn't do it, try 10 for about another week or so.
A big part of FTS is fine tuning what we consume to fit our bodies needs and our goals.
(2) Adjust portion sizes. As we lose fat, our bodies need less food for fuel.
(3) Drinking more water.
(4) Getting more sleep (if needed).
(5) Increasing activity levels to stir up metabolic rate.
(6) Avoiding, or properly dealing with, stress.
