Another question
« on: July 19, 2014, 06:59:07 AM »
HBut guys. I'm just full of questions aren't I? But I don't know if you guys remember or not, But i have what's called a psudo tumor. It's Basicly a fake tumor. The dr.s say it's benine? (Or however you spell it!:) there's a mass behind my neck & the spinal fluid goes up & only about half way down. Therefore clogging my ears & giving me vertigo. Here lately, I've been drinking coffee not a whole lot, maybe 1 & a half cups but this morning! As with the vertigo, the room started spinning & I felt nauseated & dripping with sweat! Coffee never had that effect on me before? I still feel weak but the room stopped spinning. I hate these episodes. Guess I gotta give up coffee too!:(

Hi, Stephanie! :)

It's possible that your dizziness episode happened to be coincidence.
If it happens again after drinking coffee, it may be the caffeine.

If caffeine is a problem, just drink decaffeinated coffee.

Thanks Tony and Umpa, yes I drive a school bus:) it's only happened a couple of times on the bus but I was parked with no kids on it. I know my days are numbered with the school bus. Maybe 2 or 3 more yrs. Tops. My husband's uncle has what I do in both eyes and is legally blind. The "dr.s" say weight loss will help. Because of the weight pressure on the spine. And also that I have the eyes of a 60yr. Old and I'm 41.

I'm sorry to hear about your eye problem, Stephanie.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Could the dizziness you experience be connected to your eye problem? It may be.
What did your doctor tell you about your eye condition?... What is it called?

Tony

Hello stephanie,

I'm sorry to hear about your condition. Did you ask your doctor or neuro about what are things that you should avoid?

That's psuedo tumor cerebri -- I had it in my 30's.....wish I had listened and lost weight then.....hope you're seeing a neurologist for that.

Good luck and best wishes for your health.
