Russel Stovel sugar free candy
« on: December 15, 2014, 09:31:00 AM »
I absolutely love this candy! Makes me feel like I can have my cake and eat it too. Just wondering if this is too good to be true. Would eating this product daily cause me not to lose weight as fast? I don't want to over do it, but they are so yummy that I could easily make these my daily desserts.

Hi, pask94! :)

I always keep an assortment of Russell Stover's for the occasional treat.

Notice I used the word OCCASIONAL!
Eating it too often will stall progress.
And eating too much can cause lower tummy problems (gas, etc.).

Sugar alcohol sweeteners can stop weight loss and even cause gain.
I only eat 2-3 pieces 2-3 times a month, and that's it.
Any more, and I start to gain weight.

The key with anything you eat is pay attention to how your body responds.
Some people have a higher tolerance for sugar alcohols than others.
So listen to your body, and you'll do fine.

Thanks Tony, I will definitely take heed. I surely do not want my progress to go down the drain. I bought several bags at Kroger, they had them on sale for a dollar a bag. I will freeze them and have them occasionally as you mentioned. Thanks again!

Thanks Doug! I have a Nook, so I'll be purchasing the ebook soon. Until then I'll stick to my sugar free jello and occasional piece of Russell Stovel sugar free candy. It worth every compromise to continue to be successful on my plan. Thanks again!
