Oh Yeah ONE Bars
« on: September 19, 2017, 02:35:30 PM »
Hi,

I recently started using OH YEAH ONE protein bars, they state only ONE CARB and are DELICIOUS!

I've had the Birthday Cake, Lemon Pie and Maple - Truly cannot believe they are only ONE CARB for one bar.

Has anyone else tried and are they ok on FTS??

Thanks
rene   ;D

Hi, rene!  :)

They have much more than 1g carb each.
These bars vary from 9 to 14 net carb grams each (based on the nutrition labels).
The FTS lifestyle has a 20 net carb per day limit.

The "Original Bars" have 10 net carbs.
27g total carbs - 4g fiber - 13g sugar alcohols  =  10 net carbs

https://ohyeahnutrition.com/products/original-bars-85g

That leaves only 10g left in the daily allowance for veggies and other low-carb foods.

But if that is where you would like to spend about half (or more) of your daily carbs, then enjoy.
On a planned occasional basis, having a bar now and then is OK.
Eating them will restrict what else you can enjoy.

WOW - Thank you!!

I just pulled out the Lemon Cake (the one I like the best) Oh Yeah "ONE" bar
and it's a little better - but not really "one" more like "3", still better than 10!!  ;)

Carbs 23g
Fiber 10g
Sugar Alcohol 10g

You're welcome, rene! :)

Their website did not have the Lemon Cake flavor listed.
3g net carbs per bar is good.

I try to find bars at 2 or less. That way my snacks don't use up too much of the daily allowance.
Makes for more carb flexibility for meals.
