Hey Doug, I am a hormonal woman -- and I am losing like a turtle! I am losing inches based on my clothes. I will be 59 on August 14th. The first few weeks I probably ate too many Russell Stover candies even though I ate healthy and kept the carbs under 20. Today's menu:
July 12th Breakfast: 40% less bacon cooked in microwave with paper towels to soak up grease, 2 boiled eggs without yolk and 8 oz. unsweetened almond milk with Hershey syrup, 1 cup black coffee. Water on way to work.
Lunch: 3-4 oz. grilled chicken, 1 cup strawberries, olives, 1/2 green bell pepper, about 1/2 tomatoes. I ususally drink 8 glasses of water a day.
I had lost 25 pounds before starting this program over the course of a 1 1/2 years and kept it off. I play in our pool for exercise. Otherwise, I try to walk on a treadmill minimum of 30 minutes. I only have 10-15 pounds to reach my goal. I'm stuck right now. Any advice? Thanks!
