Please help me pick the 30 winners from Canada!

Last month we kicked off a nationwide contest in Canada looking for the top 30 stories from people telling us why they NEED to lose weight. Folks from all over the country were asked to write in with their story. Now it's time to pick 30 winners who will receive a free autographed copy of FAT TO SKINNY. Please review the entries on this board and vote for each one. A week from now I'll tally the votes and the winners will be announced across Canada. Have some tissues ready because some of these stories will make you cry

We need to choose 30 winners from this group, the entries that recieve the most votes will be tallied and the top 30 will get free books. Their stories will be followed in the newspapers in Canada. They will become friends of ours as we will all support their efforts through the forum. How you vote will be up to you. There's 100+ entries that made the cut to this board.... We have a week to make our decisions.

Darn, had I known, I am from Canada, Edmonton, Alberta and have been struggling with the up and down.  Just started on July 19th and hoping to get back in to shape, feel better and help my health.  Oh well....GO CANUKS GO...hehehehe

Whew!  That was a lot of reading...passing the buck are we? lol j/k I went for the people with the most weight to loose, benefit the most from the book and effort in their reply.  Those that wanted it for their family members was commendable, however, you can't make someone want to change...that has to come from them personally.

I'm with the others...do we get an autographed copy! lol j/k<cheesy grin>

I know how tough it is to carve 30 winners out of this group...yes their are some fairly easy no's..but not many. It's so hard to say no to someone asking for help at any stage. But don't worry about the runnerups, I'll send them all a download version

Doug, thanks for letting us vote.  Such sad stories and even sadder is that it is just a tiny drop in the bucket.  I work for kidney doctors so I see the ravages of diabetes every day.  It is not uncommon for me to see one or more amputees during the work day.  Thank you so much for what you are doing.  My Doug still has a long way to go but is doing SO MUCH better since we are eating the FTS way.  He will be going this Friday for the first set of injections in his eyes with the chemo drug Avastin.  We are praying for miraculous results.
