lowcarbnic we all know just how you feel. I am very frustrated with how slow it's coming off. I feel dedicated to this new life and it is coming off so slow it's killing me. But I am a major sugar addict and the thought of eating anything with sugar in it scares me to death. I just don't think I am strong enough to go off the wagon and come back. My friends keep telling me to quit FTS and try Weight Watchers. They go on and on about how you can eat anything and loose more than I'm loosing. The problem is if I am allowed to put that sugar back in my diet than I will want more and more and not be able to stop. I hated the feeling of waking up in the morning and craving something, working my day around what I wanted to eat...it was sad. Now I am crave free, sure I want the occasional thing but it's always something on my regular food list. What other diet can you have Whipped Cream or a Five Guys Hamburger and still loose four pounds or more a week? I guess what I am trying to say is hang in there, we all feel exactly what you're feeling. I think the first 18 days are the hardest. Then the cravings for sugar stops and you find out how much you really enjoy what you can eat. I have been doing this now for 5 months, lost over 80 pounds and still have a long way to go. But I know if we all stick together we can do it. Oh and might I suggested getting some of the Sugar Free Jello Caramel Mousse....they are amazing!

 8) 80 pounds gone forever on FAT TO SKINNY! I wonder how many of those weight watcher folks have lost 80 pounds in 5 months  ::)

Well, I did weight watchers and lost 50 pounds, but it took a lot longer than 5 months...maybe a year, if I remember correctly.
