kinda quite
« on: September 16, 2011, 01:19:34 PM »
Hi all, everyone is being kinda 'quite' on here this week it seems.  I have had a good week, I will weigh on Sunday morning and sure that  I have lost some more pounds so can't wait! ;D ;D ;D
I turned 59 today, my goal is next year on my 60th birthday to have at the least 100 pounds off,  but of course I am praying for even more than that. ;D ;D  So keep me in your prayers as I want my life back and plan to fight hard to win this battle.
I have been on fts one month as of this coming Monday, and I am doing well, not tempted to cheat, not craving, just really awesome how I have been able to stick to the fts rules.
Sure is getting cold in my neck of the woods, time to turn on the furnace, as today is very chilly at 56 degrees right now. I love soup this time of year so plan to try to make some up when I have time and freeze it for when I need it as I guess there is not one can of soup of any kind on the market we can have.;(  If you know of any let me know or if you have some simple soup recipes.  We love mild chili too, got to find a good recipe for that and I cannot find the black soy beans anywhere does anyone know where I can get them?
Have a blessed day and keep on keeping on with the FTS ;D

Hi KFAITH I hope your day was wonderful!!!  Happy happy Birthday!!!   For the soy black beans you can also order them on line here: http://www.netrition.com/eden_black_soy_beans_page.html

Also if you have a Food Lion in your area some of them carry them as well.... other than that you might have a health food store close by  ;)

I'm working on my grandmothers veggie soup to see how many carbs are in there.... I'll post it when I figure it out ....Love the cold weather  ;D ;D

Thanks everyone!  Doug I am in Ohio about 60 miles north east of Cincinnati, in a beautiful  hilly country town, but a pretty big one, has about everything we need here but limited. We have to drive about 40 minutes to get to malls and more shopping.
We love the Smokies, we hope to move south when Hubby retires in about 6 years. Hope to get another RV and go to Florida every winter. Dream dream dream ;D ;D ;D I love Fall but winters are so cold and depressing cannot hardly stand them since I got older. They call this area the Ohio valley, and seems we get more than our share of rain and sunless days.

... Hope to get another RV and go to Florida every winter. Dream dream dream ;D ;D ;D ...

Hi Rosie! :)

Make your dream a goal.
Make a step by step plan to achieve your goal.
Execute your plan.
Stick with your plan no matter what.
Then, get another RV and go to Florida for the Winter! ;)
What you do today is what matters!
