Salad Dressing
« on: May 30, 2010, 07:52:22 PM »
Hi guys I was wondering what is your favorite salad dressing? I am of course talking low carb and yummy. I have been using Blue Cheese with 0 sugar and 2 carbs but I would love to find something similar with no carbs. Any suggestions?

My favorite is a good olive oil and red wine vinegar with a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.

I like Ken's Steakhouse Light Northern Italian.  It seems pretty carb friendly and I use it very sparingly, has a great basil and romano flavor.

I like ranch and green goddess, but I like to measure it and shake my salad so everything gets coated.Put all your salad ingredients into a bowl put in dressing , put on cover and shake. You will be surprised, a little dressing goes a long way.I also like thousand island, but doug makes mine. You have to ask him for that recipe.

Ken's steak house Creamy Caesar is sugar free and no carbs. A tablespoon goes a long way. I use it to coat my chickens sometimes. It's good!

I was at the store today reading all the dressing labels and got thoroughly frustrated because of the sugar/carb content. lol  I finally found one!  I like to put it on and shake it too so it coats everything. lol  I thought I was the only one.

Newman's Own Olive Oil & Vinegar

1 g carb/sugar from the red wine and/or garlic.

I'll have to check into the Ken's brand of Cesar and the Green Goddess.
Peace and blessings,
