Congrats Sarah on getting below 200!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
That's a huge milestone!

And BigTex, you'll be under 300 before you know it.

I started at 316 and have never looked back!
Like you, I was over 300 for a VERY long time too!

This has been the longest period of time EVER that I've kept off most of my excess FAT!
FTS is WONDERFUL!!! :) :) :)

I've been working on that last 20 pounds or so for quite some time.
I know that one day I'll step on the scale and 'BOOM!', it will have disappeared! ;)
What you do today is what matters!

I made the brownies with the Zero and thought they weren't sweet enough and not as moist.  I am going to give another try because these are one of our favorites, mayo might help.

Thanks for the info, Amber. It's nice to know that it's not just me. I'll make brownies again and really jazz them up, then report here. I love the zero in cold things.  I'll play with it some more in baked things and see what I'm doing wrong. It's a good thing I put the candy on these or the racoons would get them. But I hate to waste the candy...

Sarah don't forget ice cream sandwiches! ;)
Try tasting the batter before you bake it.Just make it a little sweeter. There is nothing in the Zero to dry it out. There are no sugar alcohols just liquid succralose.I have never made this recipe I will and report back.I always use the one in the Bakery book. ;)

This is the recipe we use for brownies and they are delicious!

FAT TO SKINNY Brownies
Ingredients

   ¼ pound butter (1 stick)
   1 teaspoon salt
   2 tablespoons  vanilla
   4 eggs (room temp best)
   ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
   24 drops FAT TO SKINNY ZERO sweetener
   4 oz unsweetened melted bakers chocolate
   2 cups flax seed meal
   1 tablespoon  baking powder
   1/3rd cup heavy cream
   2/3rd cup water
   1 cup rough chopped walnuts

Directions

1.   Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.   Melt chocolate in double boiler over medium heat and leave over hot water till needed.
3.   Grease a 9X13 pan or use an individual brownie pan as shown.
4.   Cream the butter until fluffy.
5.   Add the ZERO to the butter and cream them together until fully combined (aim for a fluffy texture).
6.   Add the vanilla and beat the eggs into the mixture, one at a time.
7.   Add salt and cocoa, beat well.
8.   Add chocolate, beat until fluffy.
9.   Add the rest of the Ingredients and mix well to combine.
10.   Pour into a pan and bake for 20 minutes until top springs back.
11.   Cool then cut into 32 squares.

These are cake brownies not wet brownies.I like them as Ice cream sandwiches because they freeze well.I also like them with peanut butter.Taste the batter before putting in the oven.I don't like anything wicked sweet so I am alittle lighter on the sweetener. These are really low carb ;)

I've been playing with Tyler's brownies because as I've mentioned before, I'm not a fan of flax - it has a 'slimy' texture to me - I never ate hot oatmeal for the same reason - I keep trying the flax, but find myself going "gack, gack" after a bite or two and then throwing it away. I tried golden flax, but it's the same thing.

Amber, how many drops of Zero did you use?

Here's the Tyler recipe and it has a big spread between the sweetener 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup Xylitol. To replace that amount with Zero you would use 24 drops for 1/2 cup sweetness. 36 drops for 3/4cup sweetness.

1 Stick of butter
1/2 Cup cocoa
1/2-3/4 Cup xylitol (check batter for your own sweetness )
2  eggs
1tsp  Vanilla
1 TBSP  soy flour
1/2 Cup  Now almond Flour
1/2 tsp  Baking Powder
1/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 ,Grease 9 inch pan .
Mix butter & cocoa powder then add xylitol, eggs, vanilla & heavy Cream
Beat until smooth ,add all dry ingredients .
Pour into greased pan cook for 15-20 carbs check with toothpick inserted in center .

8  carbs for the whole recipe if your cocoa powder is 0 carbs and your almond flour is 1 carb per 1/4 cup .  They will be anywhere from .9 carbs  to 2.8 carbs per brownie depending on your ingredients and the amount of brownies you get from each pan . I hope yall enjoy them as much as he does !!!! This recipe can be doubled and cooked in a 13x9 pan . Put oven on 325 instead of 350 and cook for 25 minuites instead of 15-20 if you double recipe .

SarahC try adding a little oat fiber to the flax meal  no slimy taste and no added carbs.
