No, but looking at your meal plan it may be due to all the eggs you are eating  :-\

Hi Denise!  :)

Ketosis (fat burning) during low carb weight loss can (and often does) cause "bad" breath.
How "bad" varies from person to person and how many ketones they are expelling.
For many, it comes with the territory when losing weight by minimizing carb intake.

First, I would suggest drinking lots of water.
There have been a couple of days when I did not drink enough and, according to my wife, my breath got pretty strong.
Also after meals, rinse out your mouth with water.

Secondly, using sugar free breath mints can help.
But be careful!... Many of them have carbs (often 1 or 2 grams each) so read the labels.

And finally, munch on a sprig of FRESH parsley after a meal.
It really does freshen the breath. And it will stay fresh for quite a while.
I think it's the chlorophyll (the green stuff) in it.
I believe that's why some restaurants put a sprig on the plate (it's not just for garnish appearance).
What you do today is what matters!

I read an article this week that said you can cure bad breath by using a slice of cucumber. You press it with your tongue against the roof of your mouth for 90 seconds. There are some natural benefits that come from the cucumber to neutralize the issue.

"Off breath" is a result of FAT cells being burned as fuel, you can't brush it away so ease up on your toothbrush. Sugar free gum and sugar free (Icebreakers) breath mints with Xylitol are the easy solution. Tony (mouseissue) has also given some great ideas in his post above.

decision time.......hum......FAT or Off Breath???  I'll take the off breath any time. You'll also find this subsides and actually goes away as your body finds its balance.
