General Questions / Re: Sugar Free Gum/Ice Breaker Mints?

Yikes...24 carbs for a cup????....I'll stick with Stevia thank you very much. lol  So, the gum and mint carbs are free...yeah!  I only chew a piece once in a while and the mints a couple a day...don't want to scare off the customers.  ;)

Thanks!

General Discussion / FUNNY DREAM :)
« on: June 05, 2010, 06:20:09 PM »
I had the funniest dream.  I was dreaming that the little pac man characters were going through my body eating up the fat  like a pac man game.  hahaha   ::)

Just thought I'd share that for a laugh.

Have a great day!

I was searching on line for one site to order carb free products instead of having to go to several and found this site and the products are actually cheaper than at the manufacturer sites.  Shipping is only $4.95 for your entire order!  See what you think. They have the GG crisps $2.39, Walden Farms products, Carb Not Beanit Butter for $6.79, etc.

I received my book today...YEAH!  Lots of foods that I didn't know I could eat so I'm happy about that.  Recipes look delicious, however, it would be great if they had a net carb count per serving so that I could, at a glance, see what I could have based on my count at that point.  I could just look and see...hey I've got 8 carbs left what can I fix for lunch and dinner?   ;D

Umpa, sorry for asking a few silly questions that were in the book.  I have highlighted and tabbed the information I need to stick to this.  Happy to see I can have a little bubbly once in a while...don't want to make a habit of it. lol

Two days and I've lost 5lbs!  I'm so motivated and excited.  Thanks for writing the book...so simple to understand.

You are absolutely right!  I have hypoglycemia which is related to blood sugar levels.  I was heading towards Type 2 myself.  I am grateful for this healthy way of living and already feeling much better.  God bless them!  Also, I've tried over and over to loose weight with no success...I had no idea it was the sugar I was consuming and didn't make the connection because I have a physical job and that wasn't doing it either.  Opened my eyes for sure!

I use to live in Norfolk.  It's about 2 hours from here.  It's a nice place and love the non-public beaches.  I didn't know the 700 club was there...small world.  I saw him on the 700 club the other day...that's how I found out about his book and his/your success. :)  Have you been?  You should definitely go!

Great to know, thanks!  I will probably have to check into getting an ice cream maker so I know what is in it.  I always ate Breyers because there are only a few ingredients and you can pronounce them. lol  I think Breyers makes the carbsmart...I'll check.

Have a blessed day!

Great information..I'll have to find a no carb brand.  I saw your recipe for pb cookies and want to try that to carry with me while I'm working...I'm a merchandiser wandering from store to store and get very hungry with all the physical work. lol

General Discussion / 1st day and already messed up with an apple
« on: June 03, 2010, 11:21:17 PM »
Ok...I had a brain wreck about calculating net carbs on my first day today.  For some reason I divided my total carbs by 4.2 .... I realized later that calculation is to get how many tsp of sugar. lol

I went to almost 30 carb grams today because of an apple...those darn apples just like in the Bible...the devil tempted me with it! lol  I had no idea it had so many carbs...13.5 after you minus the fiber.

Oh well...tomorrow is another day!
