Desserts and Sweets / Re: Grain-Free Pumpkin Spice Bread
« on: May 03, 2012, 04:36:01 PM »
I have this baking now but replaced half the almond butter with beanit butter. By my calculations this would make the recipe around 34 carbs. I used regular eggs (3 carbs) 1/4 cup almond butter (20 carbs) and the half cup of pumpkin was (10 carbs). I am counting  an additional carb for the small amount of cinnamon, almond and vanilla extract. Do you think that is enough for the 1/2tsp cinnamon,1tsp vanilla and 1/4 tsp almond extracts? If I can get 10 slices out of the loaf pan, it would be 3.4 carbs per slice.

FTS ZERO is " da bomb"! I received mine yesterday and used one drop in my coffee with a bit of heavy cream and you would think I had used a heaping tablespoon of xylitol. Umpa is not kidding when she says a little goes a long way. Start out with a drop and taste after each additional drop unless you are following a recipe and do the conversion from xylitol to Zero. For those of you that have not yet ordered this, Whatcha waiting for? LOL!! Thanks Doug & Sherri for this great product!

Hi Sherri! I am good ,just been crazy busy with a job change, same company, new location and responsibilties. The forum has grown so much that just keeping up with all the posts take good amount of time each day, I can only imagine the hours you and Doug spend answering everyone! I got my Zero yesterday and will write a review.

Doug is from Massachusetts. I grew up in the town next to the one he did so I guess I have that same accent as him! But of course none of us ever hears an accent in our own speech it's always the other guy that talks funny!
