Howdy Sweeties,
Buford here, I am a Type ll diabetic. The VA folks told me about now
on three years ago. They put me on Metformin and Glybride(Don't have bottles)
so I might have spelled them wrong. At the time of my first blood test my BS was
459 and I was drinking water like I had been in the desert for a month.
Now for the rest of the story, nothing has changed my BS level as much as
low carb eating and FTS is the easiest of all the ways I have found to stay
where I need to be. The big plus to me was 85lbs of gut and butt are now history.
My BS without any meds this morning was 95 (goes from 85 to 120) during the
day according to what I eat. Now if I stick to Doug's half plate plan it stays under
100. I don't make two plates (I'm a ole fart and live with my girls "LCD",
LCD=Low Carb Dogs, they love it.) I put half of every meal in a freezer bag right
away. This works for me and I have a freezer full of meals to have the next day,
week or whenever.
Diabeties can be cured and I mean cured IMHO, with life style and FTS is the
best of the best to get you there.
Our Best to Yu and Yours,
Buford and the Girls(MissyBelle and Princess)
