:o :o :o  My hubby Nick is getting spoiled...hee hee, he wants me to bake treats for him almost every night, and the foods I bake don't upset his stomach like junkie foods sometimes used to do. 8)

:) Susie, my nut addiction was so bad that even when I divided the nuts up, I would find myself saying...I can eat a bit more...and a bit more, and even (you guessed it) more, lol. I now understand what nuts do to me, so I don't keep any around in my apartment.  Oh well...there are other foods that I can eat that tastes wonderful without me over doing it.  I don't know why certain foods I can eat in moderation while other foods make me go crazy and loose all self control, its weird.  :P

Jay, I've been eating spicy edamame to curb my "nut" fix lately...the spiciness keeps me from over eating them. ;D

This book is filled with a huge variety of Delicious bake items.  I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! The recipes are easy enough for us beginners like me, and the possibilities are almost endless.  Thankyou Doug and Umpa for making such a wonderful, easy to understand, quality book on baking, thanks again! :) ;) :D

Thanks Umpa.  :D  I made the coconut cake tonight and it was awesome!!!  We liked it better than the chocolate muffins.  Would the coconut cake be considered gluten free I wonder?  I have a few friends that suffer from gluten issues and this recipe would be wonderful for them.  I may just be becoming a little baker, maybe at level 1 perhaps, hee hee.  ::)

Hi Jo, I hope things work out for the better in your life.  Sometimes it is a bit difficult to find good medical help these days.  I feel for you, try to stay positive and keep at it with finding a good doc and your weight loss.  I wishing good health for you and your family, take care! :)
